The First General Assembly of the TwinShip Horizon Europe project - September 2025
| 🌍⚓ TwinShip’s Digital Journey toward a Greener Maritime Future! The 2nd of September 2025, we held the first General Assembly of the TwinShip Horizon Europe project (www.Twin-Ship.eu) at the National Technical University of Athens, Greece - marking a major step forward in advancing maritime digitalization for decarbonization. 🚢 The TwinShip consortium brings together leading maritime technology providers, shipping companies, classification societies, ports, software developers, and research institutions. Together, we’re building an open-source digital platform powered by data, advanced AI, and machine learning. At its core is a Digital Twin (DT)-enabled Decision Support System (DSS) that will: ✅ Support the industry’s digital transformation ✅ Accelerate decarbonization ✅ Drive adoption of clean fuels, renewable energy, and unmanned vessels With pilot vessels and a Futuristic Unmanned Vessel Concept, we’re charting the course for a sustainable, innovative, and resilient maritime sector. |
